Well, someone got fired over Snoop Dogg's ad campaign for Solo Stove that helped promote their smokeless grills.

If you remember, Snoop Dogg had the world convinced that he was quitting smoking. It Turned out to be a campaign for the company Solo Stove. As a result of the campaign, the CEO has resigned because, although it made a lot of noise, it didn't result in sales....

Solo Stove said in a statement, "While our unique marketing campaigns raised brand awareness of Solo Stove to an expanded and new audience of consumers, it did not lead to the sales lift that we had planned, which, combined with the increased marketing investments, negatively impacted our EBITDA.. We believe there is a significant opportunity for us to build awareness and that these new campaigns will expand our reach and benefit our brands over the long term."

Yikes... I actually thought this was a pretty genius campaign because I hadn't even heard about this company until Snoop Dogg.
