Popular Florida City Ranks Among The 'Best Places To Live' In America

If you're looking for the home of your dreams, then you need to find the near-perfect location to settle down first. Plenty of bustling cities, small towns, and everything in between could fit the bill, but some stand out for many reasons, whether it's affordable expenses, engaging activities, or amazing weather.

Livability recently revealed its 2024 list of the Top 100 "Best Places to Live" in America. Analysts focused on small to mid-size cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000 for these rankings. They also considered locations with a median home value of $500,000 or less. Economy, housing, cost of living, safety, transportation, amenities, and other factors were taken into account, as well.

Three popular Florida cities landed in the rankings! The highest-ranking one is Gainesville, a renowned college town full of museums, nearby nature getaways, and the state's largest and oldest university. Over 140,000 people live in this city, and the median home value is $213,704. The website also had more to say about Gainesville:
